Default Anyone using N20 And a SC

I was thinking about getting a Zex WET kit for my SC S. Does anyone have this done already? Some people say "No N20 if you are SC" The guy at Zex said it woulds be fine. If some one does have this, did you get it dyno tuned? Thanks

There is 1 Vortech SC'd car using a ZEX kit at low RPM, but I can't remember his username.

if you want to go that far why not switch to turbo?
There are many "safer" turbo system than the "old days". You will get tons of torque in midrange and more top end power for the same amount of boost.

I had a similar setup up with my Comptech SC and was running an NX Express wet kit, had 35hp, 50hp or 75hp jet nozzles. I never went above the 50hp shot. Was set up with a WOT activation, but I had to many headaches with the WOT wiring breaking or disconnecting that I got fed up with the sytem, I'm guessing due to engine vibration. When the sytem worked, it was nice, definitely an extra punch with the SC hitting full boost, VTEC and the 4.77 gears I had.

I had a direct port system I was going to run instead of the wet kit, but with upgrading my blower, I figured I'll have enough power, so I'm dropping all of the nitrous. With the 4.77 gears and lightened flywheel, I'm bouncing off the revlimiter before I know it already. Concern I had with the NX Express direct port kit was the minimum jetting is around 60hp, I thought that might be too much in lieu of having the SC already. In theory, a direct port system is suppposed to allow more consistent and even spray in each cylinder, so the higher hp shot may not be as much of a concern.

I'm not familiar with the control options in ZEX kits, but I was also going to try running the nitrous down low as a power aid before VTEC and SC lag, an AEM EMS has capability for setting something like this up, but the fuel jetting in the kit may become redundant/unnecessary since you can have the injectors compensate by adding more fuel directly.

Hope it works out for you.

Yellowknockers, Thanks for the info. When you had the wet kit did you hold it wide open with the n2o all the way to redline?
