Hi Guys,

My first post here. I have bought an AP1 s2000 which already has a lot of mods installed. I am listing the mods below:

AEM V2
6266 JB turbo
FMIC
Aeromotive 450lph
IDC1000 injector
AEM Meth injection kit

The car runs perfect at 9psi of boost. The old owner had two settings one at 9 psi and the other at 15psi. He had installed a switch on the center console for high boost. Whenever i press the switch for high boost the car back fires violently as soon as boost comes. On low boost no issue at all.

Where should I check first. Could it be the boost control solenoid malfunctioning?

Where else should I look?
