Well im shopping for an s2000 this summer and i was wondering whether to get an ap1 or an ap2? Plans engine wise are inline pro turbo kit, 3mm headgasket,exhaust .

Performance wise which would yall reccomend i get? and why?

 

Get the car first and learn the limits before you go off and boost.

thats all preference. IMO 02-03 are the best years. Then add some AP2 cosmetics.

seems like both will make power. you will get more tq out of a ap2 due to larger displacement however you can rev the ap1 higher. all about personal preference. Either way you will be happy especially with an inline pro kit. both can make 500whp safely on pump gas.

 

Go AP1. Like was said, 02 - 03 would be the ideal years.
