Default AP1 Boost Issues

I have a my00 ap1 with a ultimate racing kit on it. The only thing that I don't like about the kit is the fact that it came with E-Manage blue. Now I have a little issue that arose from boosting. The car won't hit above 6100 rpms. It almost seems like when you don't let it warm up and it slams to a halt at 6000. I have changed the 02 sensors and looked over the support tools to see if they could limit me out. Both yielded absolutely nothing. The only sign of anything i have is after i clear the CEL, it comes back amost immediately. Please help me out if you might have any idea what's going on. THX!!!

If I understand you right, it does it when you "don't let the car warm up"

That OK it's your ecu preventing you from revving above that until your car is warmed up.

If it's warmed up (above 160) and still doesn't rev over 6g you have another issue.

Actually he said "like when you don't let it warm up and it slams to a halt at 6000".

well it was early in the morning and that's actually a bit of American slang.

But I see what you mean

Why not check the CEL rather then clear it

Does the car go above 6k the first time, throw the cel, and then limit after that?

That's exactly what I thought it was. Does the car sound like it's going into vtec?
