AP1 Fuel Pressure Walbro 450
just to update in case people search info in the future. yes the stock fpr couldnt keep up with the 400lph aem in a surge tank fed by the oem intank pump with stock injectors and pump 93. I only base this on the afrs being incredibly rich. too rich for me to drive to the tuner on so i unhooked the surge tank and drove it on stock fuel system (which was perfect as far as afr's on the aem ecu) to the tuner where we installed the entire fuel system. aem 400lph pump in a surge tank fed by oem intank pump, bosch 1300cc injectors, aem fpr. aem was more than capable of handling the flow on e85.
haha, yeah was kinda an oversight, my old honda builds stock fpr was always more than enough, saw plenty of stock fpr guys on here at my estimated power level but didnt account for the whole stock fpr keeping up with a walbro 255 vs my 400 lol. i slightly overbuilt my fuel setup with headroom, not that i want more but because things last longer when not being run at max constantly.
well im shooting for 375-400whp, maybe a 500whp kill secondary map for stupid stuff. 375-400 is already going to be a handful, this is on my primarily time attack car. i built my setup with a bit of head room for my goals i think, maybe not a ton if i do tune in a secondary map but for 400 its plenty more than needed
