Default AP1 Greddy Dyno

I had a pretty long day. I went up to greddy at around 7:30 and was greeted by Chris. He checked out my car and as far as he could tell everything had been installed properly. After further troubleshooting he found that the actuator rod was not adjusted properly from the factory. After he took my TP out and adjusted the rod I was holding boost a little under 8psi and was able to push to 9,000 safely. Yay problem solved!

After eating some left over pat and oscars that they graciously offered me.
I shot up to church automotive for another go at a dyno tune. When I installed my TP and hooked up my Boost controller and on the dyno she went. I was hitting a little over 12psi on my base run. I'm not sure if it was from the TP or maybe the boost controller? I think I hit 303 my first dyno pull after Shawn worked his magic. After the car warmed up and he put more fuel up top to make it safe. The results are as follows.

On the way home I almost red lined it a few times on the freeway and I didn't see anything really over 11 psi. Tomorrow I'm going to remove my Boost Controller (which is turned off) and see if that does anything. I made my goal of 300 so I'm pretty happy. and my TRQ is pretty decent for an AP1.

Would I do it all over again? I think so. I've driven a tuned stock boosted comptech supercharged S2000 and my car feels much faster, so I'm glad I went the turbo route. Yes I did have a couple of issues with the kit which delayed things but I feel that Greddy did everything they could to make me happy. I really appreciate the great customer service I received and how they stand by their products. Thanks for everyone's input and help. Its much appreciated.

Good to meet you Jeremy! Glad everything went well. Just remember, 10psi is what the consensus is for the limit of the stock head gasket. Have fun!

That dyno sheet looks pretty close to mine! AP1 FTW!!! I love my car even more now that I am turbo'd.

good numbers there aqua, i say get the stock cat on and a good exhaust and i believe that will be a bit safer it seems like.

hey chris i was wondering if one put a 3mm headgasket would the emanage ult be easy enough to tune for higher boost and would it be a bit safer for say 15lbs with everything else staying the same

I really think we need a sticky for ALL greddy owners advising LEAVE THE CAT ON THE CAR!

Your boost creeping because of the testpipe and semi-cold temperatures. Its not a question of what if; it is.

When I'm back up in the LA area I might put the cat back on and do a retune. Shawn said that putting it back on would be a loss of about 20-30 hp though... Tomorrow I'll do some WOT pulls to redline after removing my Boost controller and check my peak boost levels.

E-Ultimate will be able to handle the tune no problem. 15psi with a 3mm HG should be fine i think.

3MM is overkill IMO. a 2MM cometic makes much more sense.

Did Shaun give you the graph of the AFR's also? I'm really interested in seeing how well he tuned the fuel and at what AFR. Thanks.

Aqua, great dyno, are you running a 70mm TP and a 3" exhaust?
