looks like im going with an ap1 intake cam for my next step along with a valve adjustment, aem meth kit, up the boost to 14psi, and finally get that 4inch intake elbow put on.
Should be nice...

this is discussed in the N/A forum. A few ppl have done it, with marginal gains.
Sorry, new to S2Ki. Can you show what the gains are or, direct me to a graph that shows the HP/TQ gains on an NA F22C set up.

i got AP1 intake cams on my VTSC AP2, but i got no back to back dyno results for it. Sorry.

from what i've read and what i've noticed, my boost level dropped about .5 lbs because of the cams but the cams made more power than the .5lbs of boost that was lost. can this be true?

Recently raced a 418whp AP1 with T-Trim with my SQ Trim @ 10.5 lbs and gained about a half door lengths on him.

I ran AP1 cams on both the intake and exhaust last year in my F22C motor.

This setup I'm going to try using the AP1 intake and the AP2 exhaust.

are yall just throwing in ap1 cams and still using ap2 valvetrain? Could you even use ap1 springs and retainers?

AP1s and AP2s use the same exact valve springs. The AP2 retainers are stronger than the AP1 retainers so it'd be silly to swap from AP2 retainers to AP1 retainers.

If your motor is more efficient, less boost can make more power from the change. It depends on how the cam helped your setup.
