No. Don't install the kit until you have something to at let hide boost and monitor afr. Are you not reading anything that is said??

I used one of these before which hides the boost from the MAP sensor.

You should also get an AEM or similar brand Wideband gauge to monitor your air fuel ratio as the vortech kits run lean (not enough fuel) many times without larger injectors and a tunable engine management system.

Install the Supercharger and the AEM at the same time and take it to a tuner.

Otherwise install the kit as intended, I'm not sure what issues Moddication had with his but the major of people that have installed it haven't had the same issues and it will run safe, espeically the Ap2 kit as they introduced the 5th injector so the injectors aren't running 100% and backed timing to give you lead way with detetenation, poor octane (espeically in Canada) and heat.

Please have someone with good english skills read this and translate back.

If you don't understand what you're doing, DONT DO IT. Pay someone that does. You will pay dearly in the end by not educating yourself

They do normally tend to run lean out of the box especially in colder weather. Pretty common issue. The kit he stated is an AP1 kit which doesn't have the 5th injector either. Id never put a Vortech kit on without a wideband gauge to check afr's personally.

Get an after market EMS to run it safely. Don't skimp on something that could cause damage to your car. I've heard lots of horror stories about the vortech EMS. I'd go aftermarket. And don't make the mistake of buying haltech like I did
