so just to clarify....

everybody has problems with the bolts backing out of the head? or are we talking about the bolts that hold the turbo onto the manifold?

my bolts in the head are fine, tight dont loosen at all. Its the turbo - manifold bolts that are causing me all the trouble. Im gonna have it all fixed tonight and will keep you all updated on how long it all stays together, hehe.

man does stage 8 make a nut that would work for the manifold? You need a nut that has some way of having something sit on top of it to keep it from moving like the stage 8 stuff.

you could also try some nuts that nissan uses from the factory on sr20's. they have a tab that wont allow it to move...not sure if you have the room for this. I have been looking all over the net for this kinda stuff since we are kinda in the same boat but oposite problems.

Yes, I'm taking my turbo off for the third time. This time for one bolt that secures the turbine housing to the center housing (which is an exhaust leak).

As for the turbo-to-manifold fix, I safety-wired mine (it's the picture of the V-band housing on Full-race's web site now).

Best,
Stanford
