Default ARP vs Stock Help!

Hey guys I'm about to pick up my head from the machine shop tomorrow and I have the inline pro head gasket ready for install. My only concern is that I'm not able to get ARP head studs on time because I need to get my car out of my buddies garage. Will the stock head studs hold up. I'm looking to make less than 550rwhp. And the factory head studs don't look stretched. Any advice?

I ran the used oem studs turned two 90 degree turns at 502 hp on the street for a year with no headgasket problems.

Inline Pro has stated many times that you can use OEM bolts with their gasket...

Unless you measured them BEFORE they went in the car at the factory, you have no idea if they are stretched or not, just a quick fyi.

When measuring rod bolt stretch, you have to measure each one first at rest, then as they are tq'd down you measure the stretch with a stretch gauge.

We are talking numbers as small as .005-.007

Doubt you measured them to that fine a scale.

But as others have said, re-using them is ok.

Just follow the correct tq sequence, and steps.

I use oem bolts at 490 hp - they are fine, just get new ones (do not install the old ones)
