Default Back from the dyno

Well I hosted a dyno day over here on the east coast. Blues2k3 was gracious enough to drive down to the event so he could turn up my boost a little bit and tune her safe. Needless to say, I'm very impressed!

Strapping her up on the dyno!

Some numbers:

Note this is the dyno graph that yeilded the most HP and was NOT the final tune. We smoothed the curve out to make it 99% linear with a near 100% flat torque curve. Unfortunatly, my tuner let of a tad early so the peak hp number wasn't as high as the graph I had the dyno operator print out.

The dyno graph is also overlayed with my previous dyno last year (at the same place) when I was NA (just intake, exhaust, testpipe). Talk about a difference

Final dyno numbers for the day (on my car) were 360rwhp and 225rwtq @ 8.5psi on a very safe tune. We could have hit 400 with a little boost increase, advance timing, and a little leaner but theres no reason to put more stress on the motor with stock compression.

I also recorded one of the dyno runs.

Who said anything about turbo lag?

I've said it but I still need to stress it again, special thanks to blues2k3. He drove all the way down to tune my car for the slight boost increase stictly for the love of cars! I'm definatly lucky to have meet this gentleman. I definatly recommend anyone in the NY metro area to PM him for any kind of tuning needs!

Yeah i felt bad John when you asked me, matt, and jay as we pulled in if we were gunna dyno and we all said no. lol. When I get some more mods I definitley will. Anyways, that inline kit is badass to say the least and arnold is one cool guy. ill let you know when i get those diffusers, unless I decide to go AP2.

A little bit higher with the same tune but from what I've heard the invidia exhaust is the most free flowing dual exhaust out there. To switch of to single wouldn't gain very much over what I have now.

If we leaned the car out a little bit more, advanced the timing a tad, and raised the boost another psi we could have easily hit 400hp but I won't risk it till the HG goes in. Then 18psi and 500rwhp here I come
