Bad AEM ECU?
I was driving the other day and I lost fuel pressure and coasted to the side of the road, turned off the car, turned the key and I could not hear my walbro 255 pump prime, I thought it was a bad fuel pump since I'm on my 3rd one. Got the car towed home, got a new pump and still won't prime. The fuse is good and I couldn't find anything disconnected under the dash. I then remembered this happening once before and in that instance I nudged the ECU and it turned back on, this time nothing. Has anyone's AEM ECU gone bad like this? I searched the forums and found only one other person back in 2008, he sent the ECU back to AEM and they fixed it for him for free I believe, he just had to pay $50 in shipping from Australia. I worked on it as much as I could yesterday, emailed AEM this morning and after work I'm going to try connecting my OEM ECU to see if it will prime the pump.
My main question is, has anyone had this happen? what did you end up having to do?
