I just bought a 2008 s2000. i have been lurking the boards for a while. I am definite going FI. I will probably go with a CFT or Inline kit since they have the two 9 second passes. Besides the CFT and Inline s2000s, who has or what was the BADDEST S2000. Not the most horsepower, but the baddest. the one no one really wants to mess with on the street or track. What does he (or she) have in it? and how much did they put into the s2000? Horsepower is not a huge concern, but as long as i can get 10s and eventually 9s i will be happy.

 

One guy with a fixed up greddy kit is running high 8's. Its all in the tune and the right tires in the rear.

you realize that both 9 second s2000s were not drive by wire and did not have a returnless fuel system right?

to break into the 9's be prepared to spend at least 20k or more plus the purchase of your car.

did i mention you have a MY08?

 

youll just need to have a custom fuel setup system made for a return style system and k-pro and you can make the kind of power you need

 

And one more thing to mention...it takes ALOT more than power to make a 10 second or 9 second pass....ALOT.

 

I'm going with a custom CFT setup. So far I have $11500 into my motor, turbo setup, fuel system..... yeah and I'm still not done.I'm doing a fully built motor plus the turbo setup.

CFT is building a custom Diff for my setup. They are trying out a Cobra read end at the moment.
