Default Before & after Comp #'s

When I bought the car last June.

Cyl. 1 (227) Cyl. 2 (230) Cyl. 3 (231) Cyl. 4 (235)

This past Sunday - boosted since April.

Cyl. 1 (220) Cyl 2 (220) Cyl. 3 (220) Cyl. 4 (225)

I can't remember if I was consistent between starts , ie. 6 or 7 revolutions..

How many time do you crank it?

I held the clutch in, the gas and the button and counted to 6.

That could be, I can't see the guage from the drivers seat and I was doing it myself so I didn't have that luxury.

after test

230, 210, 210, 210

My first test on 5/28 was 240 psi in each.. so 5 months (2 FI months) and it dropped that much. SHIT!
this is no good... Im gonna buy a leakdown tester & see whats up.. and start saving for a new motor

Just wandering what equipment you use to perform these tests?? (basically which compression tool)... I bought one but it wasn't long enough to reach down and connect with the threads, plus the threads were dodgy!! So took it back straight away!

don't worry about the actual PSI on the gauge as environmental changes can influence the results rather drastically. You should be more concerned on the percent change between the cylinders. What i've also found is that even though you can have good compression, it doesn't mean that your leak down results are automatically good.
