Default Best Header Systems

Recently I supercharged my car and have a stock header attached to an Invidia cat back. I need recomendation on what headers can be substituted to hook up nicely to the Invidia.

Headers only hook up to the cat, invidia hooks up to the other part of the cat, i got OBX headers and it was such a bitch to put on, would never put headers on another car again for such a minimal gain.

BUT anyways, headers dont connect to catback exhaust so it doesn't matter. If you're running the supercharger, you should get a racepipe to replace the catalytic converter, increase your power significantly.

How does the obx header perform, any gains?

What effect, if any, does going to a race pipe and/or eliminating the catalitic converter have on the vehicle/emmisson controls or electronics ? Do you need to make any adjustments?

I think the reason he hasn't searched it is probably the same exact reason that you did not search it and offer the link yourself - S2Ki search function is currently down.

To offer assistance, what you will need to go to your local parts store & ask them to point you to the "Help" Items Isle. You will need to look for their 18mm spark plug foulers. It will be a small red package that has two metal pieces in it. You will need to drill out the inside of the first one. You then take the spark plug & plug it into the first one that you drilled out. Then take that and plug it into the second one. Then take the final product and plug it into your test pipe. This will pull your o2 sensor out of the way of direct fumes so it does not throw a CEL!
The best way to do this is to either a) spin the test pipe to plug in the fouler or b) spin the fouler counter-clockwise so the wire gets very twisted and tangled up, then put it into the test pipe. when all is said and done the o2 sensor wire should be straight and not all twisted up!

Hope this helps.

PS - the best header system depends on your needs. Certain headers offer more mid-range gains while others offer more high end gains.
