Default Best supercharger setup

What is the best SC setup for stock internals and pump gas?
also, would a lightweight flywheel like say.... an AP1 flywheel in an AP2 (or maybe the CT) be helpful or hurtful on a supercharged S2K?

I would be biased but would say Vortech. The Vortech has made the most power for stock internals and pump gas. KW is a good kit though if you are looking for somewhere in the 300's. Although, I do not think they have received their CARB status as of yet. I have the comptech flywheel and love it. That sig looks very ricey.

depends on what you need it for. is it mainly for street use? we have several SC kits to choose from. what is your budget?

well i would like to have a street car running a mid 12 second (or better if possible) quarter mile time

i thought a SC setup would be simpler and cheaper than turbo, but will it perform to the same degree in a straight line?

you won't make the same torque curve as you would with a turbo, but mid 12's are definitely do-able. you will likely need to run more boost on a centrifugal kit to get there, but thats not hard

the CT kit is centrifugal correct?
my only worry is damaging the motor on stock internals, or blowing my differential/axles/drive shaft.

ct, vortech, kw all use centrifugal blowers.

I am not a SC guy but 12's is going to require a bit more from exhaust to tune, smaller pully, injectors, ems and maybe even some other stuff.
