what was the et on that trap speed? We need to start a FI 1/4 mile thread.
I believe it was a 12.5, but not sure. I know it was in the 12's though.

It's somewhere in the Kraftwerks thread.

At this point I am calling BS on those numbers. Let alone a 700whp number.

No way he went from 400whp at 12psi to 600whp at 15psi. He said him self he was hoping for 400's.
The hoping for 400 was in jest. I don't doubt he was up there. He put a bunch of money in that ride.

Back on topic.

Anything you can do to lighten the drive train will allow the engine to wind up quicker.
A lighter flywheel is a good start. The Comptech is noticeably lighter that the AP-1 flywheel. Light weight wheels and tires, lighter engine pulleys, and a light weight drive shaft all make a difference.

I hear some biasing going on in some of the responses, its kind of funny. The strait answer is Kraftwerks, comptech, vortec, sos, all can make it in the 12's easy given the right amount of fuel and psi, you just need to do the required work to insure this, hell a stock Comptech or Vortec kit can makeit there if your a great launcher, but trap speed is the true measure of power. But the main thing you should know is that no matter which kit you choose, it can all be done on stock internals and be reliable as a daily driver. 12's are no problem, right in the ball park.

The highboost Kraftwerks s/c @ 10psi and a Heavy duty clutch will put into the 12s even with the stock exhaust.
