And supercharging isnt bad. It give's you quicker response to the wheels and is less maintanence. Turbo is induced by air, not a belt. Both have their pros and cons depending on what you want to do with your car.

I saw that your new so you may not know there is a Forced Induction section on S2ki:

Turbo is not necessarily better by any means. It all depends on your goals. Supercharging is also cheaper, less hassle, and there are a lot of owners nowadays pushing the SC limits. A few 500 + rwhp SC setups.

There are also some great new companies providing nice outta the gate turbo options: Ptuning, Mase, etc..

both turbo and supercharge has its own pros/cons.

read up on it and do your homework. if you don't its going to give you big problems and cost you $$$$$.

its never as easy as "just-throw a turbo in it"

I have to respectfully disagree.

You make more tq sooner in the rpm band w/a properly sized turbo than with any s/c I've ever seen.

Not to mention, how is a s/c "less maintence" ? I know I don't have to continually tighten tensioners and replace belts like my s/c friends?
