Default Best way to clean blower?

I bought a preowned N1200. It's in great shape just some dust build up. How should I go about cleaning it out?

Any special solutions? Water and a toothbrush?

I used brake cleaner to clean the compressor side of my turbo. Worked great.

Nice any other suggestions? I'm hesitant to use anything too abrasive.

Any engine detailer should work to wipe it clean.
