I installed two catch cans (homemade air compressor style), one for the pcv and one for the crank case breather. Nothing is coming through the crank case breather, which is expected, but this is what's accumulated from the pcv:



It's appoximately one table spoon,accumulated about 2500 miles.

This is the catch can, Craftsman large 3/8" air compressor filter.

I have both lines "T'd" into the same vented catch can and I get about the same amount you've shown but over much longer mileage. It depends on how hard you run the engine during that time. However, I've noted that most of what comes out of mine is water from condensation (winter driven car).
It's nice to know which opening pukes out the juice, though.

That's about the same amount that collects in mine between oil changes. (3500mi/6 mos)

Thanks for the input guys. I've run my car pretty hard, with lots of redline shifts. Nice knowing that oil isn't getting into the intake manifold!

It's not about how hard you push the throttle, but how hard you are in the corners. I guess a drag racer will not see any oil in the OCT...my 2 cents
