Blueridge catchcan
Does anyone have this? It looks like a nice piece but it doesnt look like it has any way to check the level of the fluids. Would like some more info someone has any.
Catch Can

Catch Can

Well I don't own one of these, but it looks sweet. With the filter on it, I dont think it could do much good though. The vapors from the crankcase would have to be pushed in because you couldn't use the vaccum from the intake to pull air out. Its really useless the way its hooked up in the pics on BuyImportPerformance. They still have the hose connected from the valvecover to the intake on that Greddy kit. Any fumes or pressure would be pulled by the turbo and never go to the tank. I guess this is why there is no fluid check device on it lol. If you just like the looks, I guess its cool but if your just looking to vent your crankcase to atmosphere, you could save quite alot of money and get one of the little filters that goes right on the valve cover. You might be able to remove the filter and plug the hole then use it like a regular catchcan. Just my thoughts.

Will the crankcase still vent even if there is no vacuum pulling the air out? Saying if i just capped the manifold and ran a line from the crankcase to just a can to collect the oil?
