Bolt on kit
Sorry, I have no patience for BASIC questions that have been asked time and time again and CAN be found if you spend some time looking for them.
Whitedeon8: You are a pansy if you think that giving him a one liner about how theres been at least 2-3 threads started within the past 5 days asking something along the lines of 'is F/I on an S2K a bolt on affair?' or 'is so and so's turbo kit bolt on?' is reminiscent of a bunch of 3rd graders yelling at each other. Grow a pair man. There's a difference btwn being a pric just to be one and b/c someone that has been on the site for a while simply won't do an easy task to help himself.

OK, chill out guys. Yes search is a tad harder to use than on other sites. You have to wade through thread after thread of newbies asking the same question.
Seriously, I don't have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is people who aren't prepared to do their own research but are eager to draw their own conclusions.
Where the hell does that come from? Inline make the Inline Turbo kit, Comptech make the Comptech SC (when and if they are in business) and Vortech the Vortech. There are some other players too but by the sound of your question you're headed for a Vortech.

Both kits available through inline pro?
Where the hell does 350 whp from a bolt-on supercharger kit come from?
First blast the guy for not using search, then feed him misinformation. Nice work guys.
OP, the bolt on SC kits make roughly 300 whp (Comptech or Vortech). I guess the guys telling you to use the search funciton need to learn to use it themselves, to keep from spreading such gross misinformation.

The other prob with the s/c kits (inherent to their centrifugal superchargers) is the fact that full power is made at full rpm. A turbo holds out the hope that you can beef up the S2000's anemic midrange...
I don' thave anything to contribute to the actual topic, but I do have some handy info on how to search the site effectively.
Many people aren't aware that you can use google to search a particular site and not just the entire WWW.
If you add site:www.s2ki.com to the end of your google search, it will restrict the search to just that site. For example:
"AEM EMS tuning site:www.s2ki.com"
Clearly the google search engine is pretty good and you'll get some nice relevant results using it. I have found it works great for digging up old posts I know I've seen on here in the past but can't track down when I want them.
