Ok. My emanage boomslang harness was mispinned for vtec. There were 2 yellow wires that were in the wrong spots. I pait 180 dollars for this harness and 150 dollars at the tuners to have them figure out what was wrong with it. Now I am throwing a code 1259 and don't know why?? Should I just mail this thing back to them and have them send me another one?? Should I make a more prominent post about boomslang and the possibility that there harness is not perfect. 180 bucks for some wires and they should have it dead on.

 

I agree... But i have used SEVERAL boomslang harnesses (although none were for an s2000)and i have never had a problem with them. I would contact them and get them to send you another one. If its bad then they must have F'd up all the s2k e-manage harnesses.

 

A member name DJ having the same problem with the ultimate and harness. I dont remember his s2ki nick. Maybe he can shed some light.

are you getting a Vtec check engine light with a VSS check engine light???



This is an old problem that I experienced when the ULT first came out. (+1.5 years)

Check your wring on the plug and check to see if the ULT is connected to the VSS wire.
Most likely this is where your CEL is coming from.

If it is cut the wires from the ULT and reconnect the jumper wires so the stock computer can see the VSS signal.
