ecu controlled is the best but with that said, i used a turbosmart dual stage boost controller in the past and as far as a non-ecu based boost controller goes it was amazing. used for 3-4 years with no hiccups. it has two knobs you dial in and wire up a toggle switch. allows you two boost settings you can toggle between. nice for a street/daily boost level and flip a switch to a "kill" tune.

ECU with a MAC valve is best, but if you must stay manual, HALLMAN Pro hands down, was the best manual controller ive ever used.

ok cool so... heres the more tricky part... all my vacuum lines to the wastegates use braided lines and -4AN fittings, which go down to the cold side charge pipe. is anyone familiar with a boost controller that can use AN fittings and not just barb fittings? i know a lot of them have removal barbs and i can purchase AN fittings...

Why not just use a standalone like AEM V2 or Infinity? You can use AN fittings with the proper adapter using a MAC boost solenoid with that setup.
