Default boost controllers

what kind of boost controllers does the s2ki community recommend? I was lookin at the HKS EVC and Apexi AVC-R, but those were pretty pricey. I dont really mind the price but if I could get something of the same and/or higher quality thatd be great. thanks for any info.

I used to have the AVC-R, great unit.

If you are using AEM engine management, just buy a solenoid and use the EMS's boost control. That's what I'm using now.

Depends on if your engine management, if you have a stand alone, then a solenoid hands down. If not, then do you want manual or electronic.

I am using Apexi AVC-R.

Overall, I am pleased with the ease of using it (adjusting, switching of setup, etc).
