Default Boost Cooler?

Whats everyone's opinion on this Meth injection kit? Its around $275, but how much RWHP am I going to gain from it, and will it be easy for my tuner to tune my car with it?

Thank you, that is all

I looked int all those kits... The AEM suposedly retards timing but I was thinking "just another thing tapped into the ECU to mess stuff up"..

I was thinking of going the simplest rout. Snow stage one and just dont tune it balls to the wall. Its what S2Kart did although he made his own setup..

Yeah, I guess the stage 1 is the equivalent to the mixture in the combustion on a very cold day? I think I may pull the trigger on this, as thr winter comes I will no longer be daily driving my S, so I figure this would be a nice addition,

You will gain very little HP, IMO. I believe the meth injection kit allows for you to run more boost than you can pull timing for.... It effectively increases the octane rating, and cools the charge. Both increase the level at which pre-detonation occurs @ the AFR you are running (for a given timing table).

If you are running a Greddy kit, I do not think that turbine can boost that much... It might help out some, as you might be able to boost beyond the efficiency of the turbo (blades creating heat, as they are out of their efficiency range), using this to cool the charge, but that is playing with fire, IMO.

I have never been a fan of meth. injection... its just one more thing that can go wrong. And if it fails, pop goes the engine on your first high-boost pull without it...

This is all what I have read. I have never used it, as it seems to be a stop-gap (cheap) for other more involved mods (pricier)...

Yeah, I wouldnt be upping the boost past what I am at now (10psi), so in that case I am not sure if it would be worth it. Although my car runs 10x stronger on a cold day so I dunno maybe it is worth it

You would get a boost in power, but not as much as if you were to up the boost... I think that is where the real gains are had.

It might be worth it for $275... remember how costly hp were before you were boosted? I would not base my tune on it, though...

yeah, I cant up the boost anymore on the Greddy Turbo it's to small, I have heard of some people doing HG with it, and they dont make any gains
