The GT35R is a badass turbo. But i had bad boost creeps too. (thank goodness for built motor) but exhaust does have to do with it and no matter what we creeped up to 15lbs at redline.

had a lot of difficulty keeping it lower then 15 so we just left it there as a low boost setting and that seemed to have fixed my boost creeping issues
you think Ill have issues with two W/Gs then? They are only 38mm, but being there is two should work out hopefully

I have a 6165 turbo on my inline pro, Toan was to solve the problem tuning the boost through the emanage using my AEM mac sensor. Seems to be working great. I think I would like to add a larger waste gate but not sure which over time. I was hoping spec could chime in on which one he used cause I heard they can stand up so high you can't shut the hood. This may be a new soulution to the greddy creep problems, but you better have a damn good tuner like Toan to figure all the stuff out.

I have a custom fitted 44mm tial wastegate to control creep during the warmer months. Once cold temps hit (winter basically) creep comes back but since the car is garaged at that point, I don't care

#1 cause for boost creep is manifold design. synapse tries to make it sound like its the turbos fault, but ultimately if you have a large enough wastegate and your still getting creep, its a manifold issue, not a turbo issue

we have no problem holding 4psi with 106mm turbo on friends drag radial car, my 72mm set up has no problem holding 6psi, and my 35r has no issues holding 7psi.

38mm is to small for a larger turbo on low boost.

You are flowing ALOT of air, but since you only want 7lbs of that air, your w/g has to be able to dump the remaining exhaust elsewhere..if it's to small...it creeps.

OLpen dump and a 44mm, or perhaps even bigger if you MUST run smaller boost.

I use a 30r, with a tial 44mm and I still creep from 7-10 lbs with it.

you will be fine with 2.

My tuner told me the reason why i creeped was not only because i USED to have an invidia v4 exhaust which restricted alot of flow but also because the Full Race manifold was too efficent for the 44mm wastegate. If we had a larger waste gate it would have solved our boost creep issue

OK so this is where I get confused, a larger exhaust ( I have a invidia v3) will help with the creep cause it's an external WG? I am going to move up to the inline 3".

But when I was running a greddy kit the internal wg to much exhaust caused creep. Thus is why most of us used a HFC and nothing larger than a 70mm.

Air is lazy and will go whichever way is easier to exit.

For an external dump:

A larger exhaust will increase the chance of causing creep -- your making the exhaust restriction less therefore the air has less resistence exiting the turbine side instead of the wastegate.

For internal dump:

It can really go either way -- it really comes down to wastegate design in the turbo and also in the downpipe
