why are you use a tru boost controler if you have the aem ems? why not just use the aem ems to control the boost? its way easier to setup and much more flexable than the tru boost controler

19lbs for 500whp, seems sorta low to me..

W/those sorta numbers, no way you can make 700whp on 30lbs..(thinking out loud).

I agree If I had the extra two pounds of boost Im loosing I would def be up to aleast in the 530-540 range. so Its more like 509 @ 17 pounds of boost.

So, upping the duty percentage on the boost solenoid to help hold the boost better didnt work?

This is very odd.........

I wonder if its a bad GM map sensor? I've heard of them going bad and causing problems but I dont know if it would cause this problem youre having.
You think? You dont think that the tuner would have noticed somthing when tunning. Do you think a bad map sensor would make It hard to get more power out of my setup? I also heard a knock off fuel pump will produce crap numbers. As far as I know I have the real deal but you never no.

I'm not too sure if the GM map sensor would cause your problems but its worth looking into. As for the the knock off fuel pump, that would be true if youre running out of fuel at the top. Would that cause the boost to drop off though or did the tuner drop the boost off at the top because the fuel was running out?

No the fuel was fine all the way threw the pull. Its just the boost dropping off. How do I turn up the duty cycle on the tru boost gauge?

I wouldn't mess with the boost controller duty cycle unless it's on the dyno in the hands of the tuner. thats just me thou

I'm not too sure on the true boost deal but just through the AEM EMS, its easy. Just have your tuner look at it to see if he can adjust it and see if that helps.

you can't adjust duty cycle over RPM. It's only adjustable as a percentage for the entire pull. If you're dropping boost at higher RPM, you're either running out of compressor or have an inefficiency in your exhaust system that is causing exhaust back pressure. If you set it up via the EMS, you can control boost more efficiently, but lose the ability to change boost pressure as easily on the fly. I have the same issue with my current setup as i have a Tru-boost, but run an EMS. Especially when you're running the turbo setup as a Daily driver.
