Why even have it then?

The point of a boost gauge is to monitor your boost as you drive. No way could you watch it and drive at the same time.
You can't honestly look at where you are going and watch the gauge while boosting at the same time. You can glance at it occasionally, but the biggest advantage is something visual so you know you are in the correct range or out of range.

I use to have a dual pillar pod and the other one in the dash there. now I sold the dual pillar and got an aem serial gauge 27 in 1 or whatever.

I mean't glance at it while you drive.

How are you going to glance at the cup holder while you drive?

^^nice idea but the gauges look somewhat haphazardly placed. Maybe a more zoomed out pic would do it more justice. Also what material is that that the gauges are mounted on?

i know CarbonS2000 had a NICE setup made that he never put to use. he took out both sides of the instrument panel and had them molded for 3 gauges on each side, and relocated the essential controls to the center console.

the reason the gauges are placed the way they are is because that is the only way all three will fit in that location. i probably could have moved the start button and rearranged the gauges, but to late now i guess

the gauges are mounted in 1/8" thick plexiglass.
