FPerra has his car set up a bit differently from what is recommended by the manufacturer. He has a breather filter on his KV on the breather side so his cannot create a vac. in the crankcase which is why he was talking about a air pump.
You are correct in how my car is set up, but it does create a vacuum when the engine is running under vacuum conditions. Under boost, the crank is vented to atmosphere. If I run the front KV to the air intake of the turbo, then it is vented there. However you do it, no vacuum is created under boost. Hence, that is why I am thinking of using the air pump to generate a slight vacuum under boosted conditions. I think there are a few more HP to be gained with such a setup. Check out this forum where the LS1 boys are talking such a system.

Kane, yes I am the same guy. I hope you don't think I was putting down your product in any way. I am seriously considering purchasing it, as long as it does what I need it to do. From your explanation, it will achieve the results I'm looking for.

Hi guys, sorry for the revive. I was trying to do some research on the Krank vents but the links on this thread don't seem to work for me, where can I purchase a set for my s2000? I saw this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Crank-Vents...bayphotohosting

but I am skeptical and would most likely purchase the kit that everyone else is using, Thanks.

Yes Joey, boost maybe causing your dipstick to pop off. From all the research of others in the forum, I've read that our pcv valves are not intended for boost so pressure from the manifold is sometimes "boosted" back into the valve cover causing gaskets to leak and dipsticks to pop off as well as other issues. From what I've read the Supra pcv DIY eliminates the problem also at a fraction of the price of Krank vents, I will try that mod first before I purchase a set of Krank vents.

my dipstick used to pop up due to blow by. Honda rebuilt my motor and it still did it though so who knows. This was when my old car was NA.

I'm going with this supra PVC valve. Should I get the original one from Toyota or get one of the replacements from Pep Boys?
