Default Boosted headwork

I borrowed the first group of pictures from s2ksall. They show the porting you get from Endyn/Hytech. The second group of pictures is an Alaniz head showing the porting you get with the Alaniz head. I can't find my Portflow pictures so if anyone has some please post.

This is after ENDYN/HYTECH got a hold of it.

These are ALANIZ workmanship:

A picture is worth a thousand words, here is a couple comparisons.

Here is my Port Flow/Laskey built Stage 3 head. The intake and exhaust runners aren't quite as sharp as Phil's, but this head is making fantastic power for me.

I personally like the portflow with the Alaniz a close second. Ive heard that "knifing" isnt necessarily a good thing.

with Sideways. I went with PortFlow, as I did not want to go through all the crap with having to rely on Joe to actually put something out on time. I had the same thing with my turbo kit, and did not want to go through that with the motor as well... I have seen a few Alaniz heads that were screwed up, though... Like member ERLS2000 (I think that is his name)... But I am sure there are a few Port Flow and ENDYN heads that have failed too... Kind of the nature of modifying things...

Plus, the Port Flow head is 1/2 the price of the Alaniz head you are selling (but then again, you should get a bit of a premium for fronting the money / time.

Joe is an artist, and we all know how artists are when it comes to meeting deadlines...

I'd go with the Portflow/Laskey head as well since I would also send my bottom end to Laskey if I never needed/wanted to build my motor.

Plus, they're still in business and it looks like downtime is weeks rather than months/years.

i know this has probably been discussed before, but what kind of power numbers are we talking here? And what type of setup would benefit most from this? I have greddy turbo setup- would the cost be worth the benefit or is money better sent elsewhere for ~300whp setup

With my guess of 12% to 14% then 300rwhp results in 36 to 42 additional rwhp with an Alaniz head.

I have no experience with the others.
