i found the type-s universal fit online for $200. I think it is not a bad deal. I might be interested in the knock-off just to see how it sounds but i wouldn't use it permanently. if you are interested in selling the authentic one, shoot me a pm... (or if you are interested in trading it with my vortech bov)

knock-off on ebay is like $25. how much are you looking for yours?

shouldnt be a difference at all if they are runnin the same psi of boost. its the concept, engine closes has leftover pressure and then realesed via bov. could be wrong though
There is a huge difference in BOV sound when comparing a turbo kit to a supercharger kit. When you lift off with a turbo kit, excess intake pressure is released relatively quickly and relatively completely. Without the turbine forcing the compressor to compress, pressure does not build in the intake system. As long as the engine RPM is kept up, a supercharger is compressing the intake charge, whether you are on or off the throttle. Until the RPM drops to a point where the BOV isn't loud anymore, you will always have BOV sound when off the throttle.

What performance gains can one see from a BOV on a comptech s/c? or is it just for a cool effect?
