Default BOV/Supercharger

Hi I have an 01 comptech sc/aftercooled s2k and was just wondering how to install Turbonetics godzilla BOV ? sorry if this is a stupid question but I searched + googled and couldn't find a diy... thanks again !

Install is super easy, just remove the CT flange from the aftercooler then bolt the Godzilla flange, attach bov and fasten with V band clamp then attach vacuum lines and youre done!

I think you would probably want to remove the stock diverter and cap that opening on the elbow as well...

Why run a BOV - if you dont mind me asking. Surely there's no performance/driviablity increase etc wise?

A BOV saves the blower impeller and throttle body from boost shocks when letting off the throttle.

What about the bosch diverter valve that comes with the SOS kit? Does it perform the same function as a BOV?
Is there a certain psi where you should switch over to a real deal BOV?

The diverter valves perform the same function just recirculate it instead of venting it to the atmosphere.
