BOV's on Comptech SC's
Sorry if my posts in this thread seem sarcastic, but it really does seem that the emphasis here is on sound rather than performance.
I really don't understand why an S2000 owner wants to sound like an extra from the Farce and Frivolous but hey, to each their own.

Since you guys seem to be interested in a BOV only for the noise, let me clue you in on why a Turbo car's BOV is louder than a SC'd 5-7psi s2k.
To make a big noise, you need boost, and a lot of it. Most street driven turbo cars make a fair amount more boost, at a lower RPM than a SC'd S2k. A WRX's BOV with 12psi at 4k rpm makes more noise than a S2k at 7psi at 9k rpm.
No matter what BOV you use, a SC'd car will never sound like a turbo car's BOV at low rpm.
