BRP/Comptech Numbers?
Hey guys,
Im sure this has been beaten to death, and youve heard it a million times. I want to get the best advice on a setup for my car.
Instead of confusing everybody with paragraphs of thoughts.. Here are my goals.
Goals:
Reliably Supercharged AP2 via Comptech/BRP
350RWHP via +1PSI pulley and AEM EMS.
Amuse or Js header w Amuse Dual Ti exhaust.- Too restrictive???
What are my options as far as going about this. I want to know if this is possible..
What do you guys think and recommend that I do??
Thanks in advance!
-Dustin
Edit - What kind of numbers are coming out of the BRP??

You gonna but a different car to get to the AP2 part?
There is no specific results of what power the BRP will deliver - probably around 290-300 would be my guess for the intercooled version.
I believe the BRP SC will also be running near max rated RPM also - not leaving much room for more HP

350whp will be about the limit to the MP62 blower, whereas the Comptech blower is good for a quite a bit more. However, comparing these two types of blower kits is like apples and oranges. Power delivery is night and day. The roots style blowers deliver most of their boost at 2-3k RPM, whereas the centrifugal blower only makes full boost near redline. Torque for the roots kit is pretty much going to be table flat, whereas the centrifugal kit will have more of a progressive torque curve, following the stock curve, just exaggerated in the upper revs. If you're one that dreams about having a V6 S2000 without the additional weight, the roots kit is the one for you.
Thanks for the replies guys.
Yes, When I get out of school Im going to buy an AP2. I think Ill go with the comptech as Ive always wanted to.
I like the high revs of the S2k, no V6 for me.
What about some of the other setup questions????
