building head for FI!
so the question is to actually build it or not?......
before i instal the turbo kit, i am going to get some arp headstuds so i figure i would have my buddy port and polish my head before the instal. he did a race port and polish on my b-series head that was amazing for my FI setup. so im having him port the head and intake manifold soon when i get some more money. this brings me to the debate of getting titanium valevtrain... springs, retainers??? i know these ap2 heads should handle 8600 fine; but with the extra stress of FI and the fun of having a two step revlimiter
, should i go for the titanium springs and retainers or what? any input of experiences would be greatly appreciated

i wouldn't touch the head unless he has done many before. he may wind up ruining one of the best flowing OEM heads.
Stock heads have made a serious amount of power. what's your goal? i say leave it and invest in some more tuning/better fuel.

i dont really have a goal yet, im just goin to be on low boost for a while until i build the bottom end. i dont know if he has done any s2k heads but the results i got out of my b16 head and manifold were amazing. should i maybe just get mild port job/ deburr and clean everything up? i mean i can leave it alone but i just wanted some opinions

its very stout stock.
