Default BUILDING MY BLOCK

I have a 00' ap1 and i want to build my block for boost but havent seen much parts out there.

ie. pistons, con-rods, crank shafts, sleeves etc.


any input would be great.

just go with a laskey, inlinepro or whoever else block....you make it to how you want, CR and stroke/bore.

there is plenty out there. pauter, wiseco, je, dart, benson, eagle, cp, etc....

for you, i would just call laskey. nearly the same price, and they do all the work.

The parts are available to anyone.

Its the machine shop that you need to pick out properly to get your block cut out and having your sleeves pressed in properly to prevent leaks or sleeves dropping.

Thanks for all the feed back guys. I need all the help i can get. I dont kow about shipping the motor out because im kinda sketchy live'n so far away from everyone else.

If i can buy all the parts needed from inline pro

ie pistons sleeves etc....then i'll be calling you guys soon.

You build the block then ya need to build the head. Then find a nice tubular and a huge turbo. Gonna cost about 20k but in the end it will be well worth it.

yeah well thats the plann.

I have Pfabs tubular top mount. Pang does very nice work.


Any thoughts on what i should do to the head?
