Default built engine...?

what consists of a built engine? the basics to keep force induction engine lasting a long time. i would like to get the comptech sc kit and i would like to keep it at 10lbs but like would it be smarter to build the engine to reinforce the extra stress on the engine so it would last longer. and to get more power with out goin so high in psi pulley. hopefully this post makes sense but please respond with comments

Built engine generally = sleeves, forged pistons, forged rods, plus all of the supporting goodies.

The factory engine should take 10 lbs with appropriate engine management. Having the heads ported and polished with oversized valves will "get more power without goin so high in psi pulley" and a thicker headgasket will allow a safety margin.

Doesn't a headgasket and/or lower compression decrease power at the same psi levels?
