Can anyone ID this turbo kit?

Default Can anyone ID this turbo kit?

This car is for sale locally and I'm wondering if it's a decent kit and if I should be worried at all. I am wanting a stock car but this one is a great price and I LOVE turbo cars.

Can anyone ID this kit? I know it's a precision turbo...

What boost should it be running? Anything I should look for when checking out the car?

My last turbo car was a 91 MR2 so this is new to me.

Yea its a legit kit! Its the inline pro kit! Boost depends on what they tuned with most probably aem so it would be safe. But for that price it just seems like somethings up

Carfax that VIN... from the looks of it, it's been in an accident before. The front fenders and the bumper cover don't have the VIN stickers on them, thus they are replaced, or have been repainted. Not to mention the S2000 badges on the fenders are improperly placed, the rear bumper cover is an AP2 for no reason, and the bumper cover on the front doesn't line up with the hood or the fenders properly. Be very careful buying this car....

otbs2k^^^^is right about what he said....also the exhaust does not look like ap1 pr ap2...the tips are different and it is crooked.....why is there an AP2 rear bumper and front bumper does'nt line up right.....

nice turbo kit though but if its salvage title....not worth it in the end

just my 2 cents

For a car of that year and price, having all the VIN numbers matching on the body panels wouldn't be something that I would really worry about. It does look like it has been in an accident, but my car got hit while it was parked 3 days after I bought it with minor cosmetic damage.
I do think that the car is selling bellow average for a s2000 with f/i. Also, whoever owned it before, must have been a huge, cause I'm fat and my bolsters aren't damaged like that. I would stay away from this one.

car is priced ok, when it comes down to it dont buy anything that has been beat up before you got to it unless its a steal.

Thats a good deal if that is the inline pro kit. I would check carfax first of course. However I dont see any boost gages, also you might want to find out what kind of ems they are using for the turbo kit. The previous owner did all of the hard work on this one, most people upgrade the soft top to glass window anyway. Also the ap2 rear bumper looks better imo.
