Default Can I get a Hondata?

Well i got the car back from the shop today...it was having issues with wires and what not, it wouldnt start all the time basically. well they also ran it on the dyno...found out we are a little short on power and have a drop in power right before vtec...this is not good. they also replaced the spark plugs and that added 20lbs/tq...so my numbers are 282rwhp and 203tq...we are going to call vortech and see if they have any suggestions, or if we're gonna have to send the black box back so they can re-flash it. the guy told us that we should look at a hondata for our managment...but when i go to their website...it says they don't have one for our car...true?? i'm new to all this so bare with me. i don't want a full aem just because the money isn't there at the moment. any help would be great. thanks.

they are coming out with Kpro in mid july --- 1800$$ but trust me worth every pennny... its like no other system --- check out clubrsx.com to see what a difference it is..... no one uses any other system due to the fact of how good the tuning is and theres so much options on it

You know, I've wondered the same thing...why the hell is the Kpro 1800 dollars (400 more then the AEM EMS) and what makes it that much better to require the high price tag.

Truth is, I have yet to find a real reason to explain the 400 dollar more price tag except "they work on almost only hondas" (which means nothing btw). Sure it can keep traction control and other honda specific things, but the AEM system does as well.

Unless there is some major info I'm missing, AEM EMS > Kpro all damn day long.

The Kpro allows for a little quicker startup and it also allows you to keep your anti theft. But other than that i dont think there is anything the Kpro can do that the EMS cant.

What you mean like OBDII. Thats a pretty HUGE reason to go with hondata with those who live in Emmission states which scan by checking OBDII readiness.

not to mention the adjustabilty of OEM with the tunability of aftermartket. (ie elevation)
