Default Can I use the rest of my Q16 ( 3gallons) and throw it in

Hey, I have about 3 gallons of Q16 left, and I was wondering if it would be ok to mix with the rest of my 93 to up the octane of my 93. I would still be running the 93 tune, I just dont want the Q to sit there being wasted. I would get more Q16 but no point until I get new tires

Thoughts?

Can't answer your question.. but I have one for you, is Q16 safe to sit in a tank between track days? I really want a tune on Q16 and solely run it in my S.. is it safe?

I cannot comment on how long Q16 holds its octane but I am not comfortable using it after a few weeks as my tune on race gas is not very forgiving. Better safe spending another $90 than being out an engine.

It needs to be completely sealed, otherwise it will bleed octane.

Keep it out of direct sunlight as well.

I wouldn't leave it in your gas tank, most race guys drain it out after each race day.

You won't see a performance increase just from tossing it in the car on a 93 tune, but it will be fine to burn up.
