Can someone please give me a base map?
well i'm give you guys the story i got its mostly had its down...
So after hearing all the hype about my tuner being able to tune really good and what not...
I just recently found out he sucks at tuning aem ems and s2000!!!
He got my car and did a tune with a base map that i gave him and it only made power until vtec then it fell off its face so he called his buddies and tried everything he knew... so it was a big dissapointment for me as i left only making 200 @ 6k rpm... Left with some tears and a empty wallet as he charged me 350 dollars with a tune thats basically half working... It starts and idle fine and drives like stock adn thats about it...
So later we called up inline pro and they said that our base map was no good or so he told me thats what they said... Now he wants another 300 bucks to tune my car b/c he said the basemap i gave him sucked and that he has to start from scratch..
After inline pro told him how to properly tune the s2k for turbo, he goes and blames it on the base map!!!
I told him as a tuner he should had known the problem with the basemap and can't really blame me for providing him with a map which ran fine on my car with 3lbs of boost, it idled fine and started fine also, I got the map from the person i brought the kit off of.
So if anyone could please provide me with a basemap so i can take it to a decent tuner that would be great, i'm probably gonna take it to Jack harris who use to work at p1 motorsports in SC.

Inline manifold
550cc injectors
60-1 turbonetics stage 5 ceramic ballbearing turbo
8psi of boost
aem EMS 1052 with the newest version software
turbonetics evolution wastegate
Raptor BOV

Sorry to hear about the bad news. I've looked around the carolinas for a tuner but I haven't seen or heard of to many great tuners that I would trust with my car. Jack worked on mine a few years ago and it's ran fine since. It may be difficult trying to get a hold of him, the only way is by email but scheduling things that way is a pain in the a** . jack@P1auto.com
I would try to go to go to a reputable tuner that has tuned a great deal of S2000's. If you can afford to bring it up to inlinepro or Jeff Evans in Pa or some place of that caliber it might be worth it in the end. I plan on making the long trip to get my car tuned right and have less worries.

talllllking about tuners...I have had my bad experiences before. none of which with 2nrwerks of course.

I think i can get ahold of jack at p1 real soon but i really need a base map or a map with the same settings as mines to get it running right and to the tuner...
