Default CANT GET CAR TO START

My setup is aem ems1052uego omnipower map sensor, 880 cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump,
I had a few maps before that i used to start my car with and they worked fine. I didnt touch it for about a week and a half, went out their yestuarday to put my basemap from jeff evans on and my batt. was dead. I charged my batt at work, tried to start it again today and its cranking but not starting. I dont know if it matters but my gauges go dark (2 serial gauges) when trying to crank the car, and light back up about 5 secs after I stop cranking it. Also my headlights are going kind of dim. I tried to use my moms bmw/ my sisters accord to try to jump it but it does the same thing! I dont know what to do, should I try a new battery, cause its cranking!, the fuel pump is priming, I tried the factory map sensor and switching them back and forth. I just had it running. It wont start with the old map or the one more for my car from evans.

Take the battery to a parts store and have it tested. It's prob. the culprit. Cranking the car over and over will only weaken it also..

Sounds like a bad battery. Take it down and have it cart tested. My Optima Yellow-top crapped out on me after 6-months... just got the standard duralast yellow-top and kept the receipt. They will replace it for free, at have my model in stock (optima must be ordered around here).

My car would not even start with the jumper cables hooked up to my dad's Tacoma, idling at 3k RPM! *crank*crank*crank*crank* (ems takes one more crank than OEM to turn normall).... nothing. Leave it on for 2 minutes with the other car shut off, gauges, dash, radio all die...

ALSO, on that subject^ Forcing the AEM to TRY and crank the motor will fry transistors since it's working to hard to fire the motor.

Check for spark, if you have none, and your car just keeps cranking EVEN after you charge the battery. Your AEM may be fried like mine.

You will have to send it to them for repairs if this is the case.

EMS needs more voltage to crank sync than stock ECU. Sounds like battery.
