You edited the first post? WHY?
I guess you don't realise that some people use the search function and consider S2ki to be a resource of users experiences. Now this thread contains a number of totally irrelevant responses.
Perhaps try starting a new thread for a new issue in future.

also, do you guys think the red locktite or jb weld would be best?
JB weld may be too thick and will just squeeze right out when you put the freeze plug in. They fit very tight anyway and thats why I mentioned using some red Loctite (which is watery, very strong and holds up to heat better) around the whole OD of the sealing area on the plug that seals to the head when you tap it in. I've seen it used on V8 rebuilds when they put the freeze plugs in.
^^ thats not reassuring..... dang. i hope it holds. if not then ill just have to buy a screw in. did yall just use a bolt that would fill the hole? or is there an actual freeze plug that you bought that screws in?
just measure the diameter of the hole. find a tap that requires that size. tap it. run a threaded block off plug in there, and have zero worries.
why replace it with the same kind of part that blew out???

its pretty small so it shouldnt be hard to get a tap for the size. and ill probably go ahead and do that. but im still curious, why do so many of us have this issue? what causes this? until now, i never knew it could happen and now im hearing alot of people that this has happened to
i havnt heard of it happening to "a lot" of people. especially not s2k owners. it must have something to do with air pockets. because superheated expanding air will blow freeze plugs like that. how long after the headwork was done did this happen? and did you get the air bleeding procedure done exactly right?
