BUT when i crank it wont sync (go figure) i noticed i only had like 11.5 volts so i put a charger on the battery but still can't get it to sync. any ideas? should i just try a new battery?

hmmm

if the sensors wont sync might be a timing problem with the cam chain re-install

i finally figured it out. the problem is rather simple when i had the head off i went ahead and installed a chasebays tuck harness well when i got it i noticed it was missing a sensor i looked it up and found out that the sensor that was no longer there is not used so i tossed the harness on and noticed one more plug that was no longer used so i blew it off figuring this kid knows what hes doing he builds engine harnesses all the time. that's were i was WRONG turns out he left out the CRANK POSITION SENSOR so being that the aem needs both the crank and cam sensor to run that is exactly why my car wont run. which also explains why it runs so rough on the oem ecu. i guess i have some wiring to do ugh!

Act. if you have a pic, can you post a pic of your engine bay the way it sits with that harness installed.
