FI eats any clutch for Breakfast//
I had an oem gone for 4kmiles and a FX400 Clutchmasters for 6kmiles...
daly driven car and handful of drag street races..
Clutch eater is this car and the Tranny is a damn Hard job to take out..
If i drove a B16 i wouldnt mind changing the Clutch every now and than..but this is PITA....
I stopped beleving when peaple say i drove my clutch for 30k or 20k...
my only expination is that they never WOTed the car..

Good luck

For the price i guess its good, but there are other clutches that hold impressive amounts of torque well, without the added price!

I would recommend a ACT street clutch setup! It has the same feeling as stock, only with heavier clutch pedal, and holds lots of torque! It also last a pretty long time!

I currently have a CC stge 4 6 puck and the clutch has never slipped on boost, and i make 300+ft/lbs of torque! However, the take up is less than desirable. It has lasted about 15k miles of heavy abuse, im waiting to see how long this lasts!

How much torque are you looking to put down?

I have only heard good things of the Carbonetic line of products.
The price is good I had a friend that was doing a Hi HP 350z and he went with the triple disc and he liked it. maybe some of the guys with more experience on the products can chime in.

I am planning using the carbonetics twin disc on my setup. We'll see if it can handle 500 ft lbs of torque.

I don't think you would want a triple disc, I've been told it's a little bit harsh on the tranny.

I just wonder how much it's going to cost to replace the discs when they wear out.

i plan on making about 550+ whp and 300+ torque.

i just thought this is a good price cuz its only $1360 new, i called some dealers and they all quoted me $2000.

i was thinking about Competition Clutch but it cost $650 for a stage 5 and flywheel cost about $300, the total comes out to $950, for about $400 more i get a twin plate carbon clutch..

i asked him why so cheap and he said he got a good deal on it since he owns a shop.
