Default cars lags after turbo

So I installed a turbo on my s2k and at first it was awesome it drove like stock just with more horsepower........ but now, unless I floor the car or keep it under boost, it makes a kind of poping sound for a couple seconds then goes...... anyone know why it would do that? I have a greddy emanage BTW.

misfiring, lean, rich, no matter what it is, stop flooring it until you figure it out.

^^Exactly what he said. If its making a lot of crazy popping and shit and hesitating then youre detonating and/or the air/fuel is off horribly in one direction or another. Who did you have tune the car?

Some more details are needed and if you are having problems keeping it under boost and continuing to drive the car can cause some serious problems. You said you installed the kit? What kind of engine management are you running? Who tuned it? More details on your setup. I'm assuming you are not running an af gauge. I would not start the car again until you have one.

You should call who ever tuned your car, maybe they can help you fix the problem quickly.

I have an emanage blue..... didnt know there were problems with them. I have rc 440 injectors.... walbro 255lph fuel pump.... It was tuned and was running great for a while.... I don't want to say who tuned it cuz it was great at first so its probly my fault what is going on...... I don't want to give any bad rep... I have the godspeed kit (godspeedproject.com) but I have a garrett t3/t4 instead of the turbonetics.....
