Default Cel p0108

P0101 map sensor high voltage.

I tried looking on forums a google for fix but havnt had luck. So ap1 2003 running Vortech supercharger with 4.5 pulley with the black box. Stock map and stock injectors. Walbro fuel pump. My belt for my stock 5" had snapped and I had a 4.5 so I put it on. Ran fine for about a week then I decided to put on an emanage ultimate with greddy turbo base map. It was ok to drive but didn't run great was planning on getting a tune but plans changed so I took it off and put ecu back with Vortech black box. I reconnected everything and turned on the car. Cel came up with p1367 something with Tdc. So I checked the wiring and one of the wires came out so I resoldered the wire back. Turned it back on and another cel which is the p0108. Tried clearing it with cel reader went away but came back within 2 secs. Resetted the ecu and it went away drove around didn't come back up. The next day. While driving it came back up. Pulled over cleared the code and was good to go again. Next day same thing happen but this time would not go away. Tried resetting ecu again but didn't work. Now it has not worked yet. I am planning on swapping it with another map sensor 4 bar this Saturday. If that doesn't work i plan on putting the 5" pulley back on.

U guys have any ideas or suggestions on this matter. Help will be appreciated.

Sounds like a wiring issue. I would check all the wires going to the map sensor. Possibly a short to power or ground.

You won't be able to run a 4 bar MAP sensor with the stock ECU. You can only run the stock MAP sensor with the stock ECU. Only way to go to a bigger MAP is with an EMS.

Is it possible to run the 4 bar with a greddy emu?

If there is a scaler in the Greddy EMU you should be able to run a 4 bar. A lot people use the Greddy, so I have to assume it has the capability to adjust for a larger MAP sensor.

Pretty sure that you gave to use stock MAP and the greddy pressure sensor. They dont make it as easy as just being able to use a plug and play MAP sensor.

thanks for the info. well i ran into another problem today. so i tried to resoulder all of the connections of the vortech black box. once i finished doing every wire. i tried to start the car again. and it would crank but not turn over. i started the car first before i started working and the car started. i did this without disconnecting the battery. is it possible that i could have fried my ecu? i disconnected the harness off the ecu when i was souldering the connections.

I think some pictures or a video would be necessary to further assess the problem here.
