Default CEL on Turbo S2000

Vehicle Info
- 2009 S2000
- 17,xxx miles (boosted for 1,000)
- Full Race FF Kit
- 9174 EFR Turbo
- Pump Gas

This past weekend I was doing some night time pulls, shot flames out the wastegate dump tubes (assuming boost cut) then noticed my cel was on. Pulled over to check everything out and everything was fine. No strange noise, smell, leaking fluid so I babied her home.

Pulled the code code yesterday and turns out to be P0325 Knock Sensor bank 1. Went ahead and cleared it and let the car idle for 5 minutes without it returning. Then a few minutes after driving it came back on.

Where I'm confused is that after reading various threads with the same code people's cars seem to go into a limp mode running very groggy. My car is completely fine feeling wise. If the cel wasn't on I'd never know anything was wrong.

My question is with my cars code and symptoms, do you think the knock sensor is faulty and needs replacing, or could it be something else, possible a bit more fine tuning as far as the knock sensor functions or something goes on Hondata?

thank you!

If I read my knock sensor loggings, it reads high voltage (above 2v) when hitting the rev limiter or when my open dump tube starts throwing flames. But CEL doesn't come on.

-Can you read your knock sensor loggings?
-Do you have an OEM knock sensor? (the cheap ass aftermarket sensors are going to give you trouble!)
-Do you have a stock block, compression ratio? And how much boost are you running on pump gas?

I'll be pulling up the loggings tonight to see what's going on. As far as I know, it is the stock knock sensor. Just bought a brand new knock sensor to have on hand from Honda... $140

Block is fully stock, with stock compressions I'm running 12 psi right now, no actual boost controller so I'm limited on the waste gate springs

The knock sensors on this engine aren't particularly accurate and most good tuners just turn them off.
