Default Ceramic Coating

I am planning on getting the exhaust housing of my turbo ceramic coated. Swaintech quoted me 125 for their white lighting and a local shop said 200-300 for silver or black. That seems a bit high doesn't it? What did you all normally pay to have your turbos coated?

Coating isn't cheap. Just paint it with BBQ paint and get a turbo blanket.

I mean the local shop is high, not swaintech. LOL I'm not coating to make it look nice, I need to do it to lower temps. BBQ Paint lmao.

I am just seeing what else is out there as far as price. Also waiting to take it to a local shop to get quoted. Id rather not ship it out if I don't have to. They also said they take 2.5 weeks to coat it...

I have a turbo blanket I will be using as well. Its very close to some of the wiring and vtec solenoid so I want to do both.

I said BBQ paint just to limit the surface rust appearance. Not as a coating for heat by the way.

Another option that compares to swaintech from what we have seen on the dyno.
